Amazing Chocolate Ganache Recipe
18 oz Milk Chocolate Chips
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Cup Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Place chocolate chips in a bowl and set aside. In a small saucepan, bring cream, butter, and vanilla just to a boil. Pour hot cream mixture over chocolate chips and whisk until smooth. Place in fridge to let cool and thicken until desired consistency (about 1 hour). You can dip cupcakes or cookies in the ganache if you leave it at a more liquid consistency, or if you let it thicken you can spread it on cupcakes or cakes like frosting.
PS It's also good heated back up and poured over ice cream. Not that I ate a huge bowl of ganache covered ice cream...ok I did.
