I've been seeing photos of blueberry cake floating around the internet, so I thought I should try my hand at it. It did not disappoint. The cake wasn't too sweet and was perfect topped with a sprinkling of confectioner's sugar. And you just can't go wrong with moist vanilla cake topped with freshly whipped vanilla buttercream.
