We've had a crazy couple of months. We moved (as most of you know) to Portland.
I am in LOVE with this place. The canapé of trees that line the street to my house. The moss covered rooftops. The ferns. The clean crisp air. And the bakeries. Yes the BAKERIES. This city is a food-lovers dream. I have been diligently "studying" all of the local bakeries. Ya know, getting inspired.

I don't know if you remember me or not but I moved from Daybreak to SC. It's funny because it was just yesterday that I was thinking of how you always made such great treats. (I think it was the fresh strawberries around here. They reminded me of the chocolate covered strawberries you would put in your treat boxes for Valentines and other holidays.) I hope you guys will have a great time in Portland. I will stay in touch in case I ever need a Czech. translation from your husband (if I can ever do my genealogy). Best wishes to you!!
