This Week's Sweets: Cobweb Cake

I found my inspiration here for this creepy cake. I'm new to using fondant, so it was a good thing I had these fun marshmallow "cobwebs" to cover my errors! 

Inside the white fondant were 6 layers of black cake (vanilla) and white buttercream. I would have taken a picture of the inside, but the little monsters devoured it before I could.

Halloween Treats

The nights are getting cooler, the days are getting shorter, and Halloween is just around the corner!

My son wants to be a vampire. My daughter wants to be a punk rocker (I think she wants to be a punk rocker in "real life" too :). And I want to be on the beach drinking pina coladas! But since I know that's not going to happen, I figured it was time to start getting orders for Halloween Cookie Kits!
